I’m Matt Brice, a private chef based in the South of France, specialising in personalised in-residence dining for households, villas, and private residences across the Côte d’Azur and Monaco.
After training at the Tante Marie Culinary Academy in 2011, I developed my career working in Michelin-awarded restaurants, private family residences, and Ski Chalets across the UK, France, and the USA. These experiences shaped my ability to deliver consistent, high-quality dining tailored to each household’s preferences and routines.
Since relocating to the French Riviera in 2019, my cooking has focused on seasonal Mediterranean produce, creating balanced, refined menus fully adaptable to dietary requirements and personal tastes.
Alongside this, I regularly with with gluten-free, vegan, keto, and specialised nutritional approaches. Menus are designed to evolve naturally over time alongside seasonal ingredients and individual client preferences.
Working with private households and extended-stay residents, I provide reliable, discreet, and highly personalised chef service. This includes managing daily dining, provisioning, and full kitchen organisation.
I also bring extensive experience integrating into established household routines and working alongside domestic staff.
Based on the Côte d’Azur, I focus on locally based, long-term household roles while continuing to accept extended villa placements. I remain open to retained or full-time private chef roles for the right household.
